There is a simple answer to the question proposed in the title of this post: YES!

Let's say you love the color gray. You pain your walls gray, order gray colored furniture for the living room, ad bring in gray accent rugs all through the house. All this would be fine, as long as you add in some accent colors.

For example, you paint your kitchen cabinets gray to match your gray speckled granite countertops. Add white trim and a white back splash.

If you paint your walls gray, add pale yellow accents to your room with pillows and rugs.

Too much of any one thing can easily become too much. Be sure to break up the one color with accent colors and you will be okay!
