Neon interior colors...In or out?

Image
Are you the owner of a luxury home and ready to stage it to sell? Pops of neon colors can make a room look fancy and luxurious. We are not suggesting you go all our and paint the walls neon and have custom furniture made in an array of neon colors.  Pops of color means adding throw pillows to the sofa or living room chairs. You can add pops of color with towels in the bathroom and throw blankets in the bedroom. Try a neon rug in the kitchen or even under the couch in the bonus room. Countertops: What is trending?

Image
houzz.co.uk Granite countertops are still the "in" thing. However, the coloring of said granite is changing. The new granite color trends are solid colors and veined granite. Veined granite resembles the look of marble. For example: If you have white cabinets, the new trend would be white countertops with a grey vein running through it or black countertops with a white vein running through. Brown cabinets? No problem! Check out a white granite countertop with a brown vein running through it. Young adults: Are they staying home or moving out?

Image
This is a loaded question, according to a study conducted by National Association of REALTORS,  more young adults are choosing to stay home rather than moving out into their own place. The result of this are multi-generational households, which would cause homeowners to stay in larger homes as opposed to downsizing or even upgrade to a larger house. A study conducted by Magnify Money indicated that there are several cities where young adults are least likely to live with their parents. These cities are: Minneapolis Seattle Denver Indianapolis Kansas City, Mo. Raleigh, N.C. Ready to move to the Raleigh, NC area or upgrade to a larger home?
