Listing your home: Photo tips

The pictures used when you list your home are the first impression potential buyers have of your home and they can make or break your sale.

Unfortunately, this happens all too often. If you are not a photographer, reach out to your Realtor for help.

A couple of helpful home photography tips:
  • Always take pictures of the ENTIRE room.
  • Make sure lighting is bright enough.
  • Take pictures with lighting behind you if possible.
  • Always include pictures of the front yard, back yard, front of the house and back of the house.
  • Extra pictures of the kitchen are always good.
  • Pick up all clutter before taking a single picture.
These tips are definitely helpful, but having a skilled photographer is your best option...whether it be your Realtor or a hired professional.
